This document serves as the Terms of Use and EULA for Lazely.
Agreement
By downloading or using Lazely ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Description of service
Lazely is a screen time management app that uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to help you manage your app usage through shields, interventions, and focus sessions. The app requires Screen Time permissions to function.
Subscriptions
- Lazely offers free and premium tiers. Premium features require an active subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms.
- Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Lazely only for its intended purpose of personal screen time management. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to monitor or restrict another person's device without their consent
- Attempt to circumvent any security features of the app
Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding in Lazely are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
Lazely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Screen time blocking will work in all circumstances (Apple's Screen Time APIs have inherent limitations)
- The app will achieve any particular result in reducing your screen time
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
